Ultimate Avengers
So I rented this little gem and watched it this morning. I guess it was alright. When you go from live-action movies like X-Men and Daredevil (simply for the subject matter on that one), which are dealing with heavier, darker issues, to teams like the Fantastic 4 and the Avengers, the overall mood lightens and gets more cartoonish, in some aspects. At times, the animation made me feel like I was watching a GIJoe epsiode. They'll be doing another one (it's due for release in July), and I'll probably watch that too. Not the greatest, but it sure beats Daredevil, and casting Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider.
"Who's the chick with the hammer?"
"Whoever she is, I'm glad she's on our side."
